The tricky bit is getting out of Sudbury - Please follow the instructions carefully. If you get lost ask for Acton Lane.
From Sudbury railway station turn RIGHT into town Left at hairy junction followed IMMEDIATELY by getting into RIGHT lane. (You may be happier getting off and crossing on foot.)
Pass Town Hall on your left as you curve to the right. Across the traffic lights
300 yards then turn left into ACTON LANE (just past Horse & Groom) Follow lane. 100 yds after sharp left bend escape right into estate by large tree
The next bit is tricky. After going over the west bridge, go straight down all the way and then head under the bridge that appears on your left when you're wondering what next. If you get lost ask for Acton Lane.
STRAIGHT ahead to parking area with grassy bank behind Up bank onto path turn LEFT and over bridge. DOWN other side then along GRENVILLE RD. Left at tee into ACTON LANE
Carry on into the country to ACTON
Option:Right is quickest road route via Lt. Waldingfield
RIGHT at tee then 150 yds LEFT into BARROW HILL
Keep right
Option:All road route via Lavenham turn left then right.
At oblique crossroads go straight across
After 1/2 mile turn LEFT onto overgrown track.(1/4 mile). Warning: Track can be rutted with ruts hidden in the grass.
Option:Carry on and keep left is all road route (Extra 2 miles)
