Sun and Anchor, Steeple

There are two pubs in this village. (There is nothing wrong with the Star especially if you like variety of beers.) Lets keep it that way! A village needs two pubs. This means you can say what you think knowing you can escape to the other for a few months. It also means if you don't want to meet someone you can avoid them. When that someone is the publican or their dog or some obnoxious customers or whatever you can make a choice. If one pub does well in a village it keeps the other up to the mark. For example Greene King will only allow guest beers in their houses if absolutely necessary if because the pub downn the road has variety of beers.
